Elkader Register, Fri., 15 Sept. 1882.

Franz Eggerth, formerly a resident of this county, died on the 31st ult., at his home in Humboldt Co. Mr. Eggerth settled in Garnavillo township, Clayton county, in 1844, and moved to Humboldt county in the spring of 1881. He leaves a wife, six children and numerous friends to mourn his death.
