Monona- Ralph H. Leppert, 98, died Friday in the Great River Care Center at McGregor following a lengthy illness. He farmed for many years in the Luana area.
Survivors include his wife, Martha; a daughter, Carol Grady of Norfolk, Va.; three stepsons, Irvin Jahn of Alexander, Va., Darrell Jahn of Auburn, Wash., and Delver Johnson of Guttenberg; two grandsons and four stepgrandsons.
Services: 1:30 p.m. Monday in Schultz's. Burial: Smithfield Cemetery, Rural Luana.

Ralph Henry Leppert is buried with his first two wives, Louise (maiden name may be Schroeder) Leppert and Anna (Borg) Johnson-Leppert; his daughter by Louise, Nora; and his stepson, Russell G. W. Johnson. His stepson, Delver Johnson in this obit, is properly named Andrew Delver E. Johnson and is buried as Delver Johnson in Waterville Lutheran Cemetery, Waterville, Allamakee Co., Iowa. Andrew Delver E. and Russell G. W. Johnson are the sons of Andrew and Anna (Borg) Johnson-Leppert.
