Arnold L. Lange, 90, of Guttenberg died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2002 at the Strawberry Point Lutheran Home.
Services were held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home and were conducted by Rev. Penny Hansel. Burial was in Mt. Harmony Cemetery, rural Elkport, with the following casket bearers: Frayne Horstman, Don Bennett, Terry Rutledge, Jake Sargent, Rob Sargent, Mike Ries and Carl Bennett.
Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home and Cremation Service was in charge of arrangements.
Arnold LeRoy Lange was born on Nov. 11, 1911, in Kirkland, Ill., son of Hugo and Clara (Robbins) Lange. Arnold attended high school in Redwing, Minn., and worked for the Budd Co. in Detroit, Mich., for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, coyote hunting, woodworking and traveling.
On Aug. 9, 1941, he was united in marriage to Delores V. Amsden in Covington, Ky.
He will be missed by nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Delores; two sisters, June Lange and Hannah Bennett; four brothers, Carl, Lloyd, Velmer, and one in infancy.
