Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 2 July 1908.

Mrs. A. B. Landis received the sad news Sunday of the death of her niece, Mrs. Jennie Jennings Hansel, of Garber. She was a young woman and is survived by her husband and small child. Her death is doubly sad because resulting from accidental cause. About one week ago she took some medicine, unknowingly using a spoon that had been used in removing Lewis' lye from a can, the lining of her stomach being thus destroyed. Mrs. Hansel was an estimable lady and her sad death is deeply deplored.
