Farmersburg- Elmer Schlitter, 88, of Farmersburg, died Sunday, Dec. 8, 2002, in Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital, Prairie du Chien, Wis., following a brief illness. Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Garden City United Methodist Church, Monona, by the Rev. Dennis Gilbert. Burial: St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, rural Monona. Visitation: 3 to 7 p.m. today at Leonard Funeral Home, Monona, and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Survivors include three children, Carol Chase of Farmersburg, Deanna Krambeer of St. Olaf and Franklin Schlitter of McGregor; and three sisters, Marie Mount of Waukon, Helen Mielke of Monona and Ethel Strelow of Volney.
