Mr. Jacobs, in company with two other men was in the woods chopping, and had chopped a tree off the stump but it lodged in another tree, and while they were standing considering how to get the lodged tree down, a large limb was detached from the standing tree and fell, striking Mr. Jacobs on the head, killed him instantly.
