Clayton County Journal, Garnavillo, Iowa, 14 July 1859.

A man by the name of Robert Bowe, of this place, died of apoplexy on Tuesday the 12th inst., while mowing hay. Fifteen minutes previous to his death he was quite well, and his sudden death is mourned by his wife and many friends.
