Died. At St. Paul, Minn., Tuesday, March 8th, 1892, Emmet Francis Loucks, aged 39 years, of typhoid pneumonia, after several weeks illness.

The deceased was born in Union Square, Oswego county, N.Y. and in Jan., 1890, married Aggie Gleason, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Gleason, formerly of Elkader, but now residing in St. Paul.

On Saturday last Mr. Loucks' remains arrived at Elkader, accompanied by Mrs. Loucks, Mrs. T. Gleason and others, and after services at the church were deposited in the Catholic cemetery.

From the St. Paul papers we learn that the deceased was a member of the A.O.U.W. and the funeral services at that place were held under their auspices. The many friends of the family extend their heart-felt sympathy to her who thus early in her married life is called upon to part with an affectionate husband.

Mr. Frank Gleason, of St. Paul arrived in town Friday, to make the necessary arrangements for the funeral of his brother-in-law, Mr. Loucks, which took place on Saturday, after which he returned home, Mrs. T. Gleason and Mrs. Loucks remaining until Monday.
