GLEASON, GILBERT, MCCARTHY, BURKE

Mrs. Timothy Gleason, a former well known resident of this place died at her home in Minneapolis, Minn., on Tuesday, Sept. 11th, 1906. Her death was the result of injuries received from a lamp explosion about three months ago.

Deceased was 65 years old in March last. She is survived by two sons and three daughters, Frank, of Dubuque; and Timothy, of Green Bay, Wis.; Mrs. Nellie Gilbert, of North Dakota; Mrs. Anna McCarthy, of Minneapolis and Mrs. Agnes Burke, of New York. The two last named daughters accompanied their mother's remains to Elkader, arriving here Thursday evening.

The funeral was held Friday morning at St. Joseph's church and the body was interred in St. Joseph's cemetery beside those of her husband, who died in August, 1898.
