Elkader Register, Thur., 28 July 1921.

Mrs. Helena (Arntjen) Kregel was born in Germany and died at her home in Garnavillo July 25th at the age of eighty-eight years.

When eighteen years of age she came to this country and on July 17, 1856 she was united in marriage to Diedrich Kregel, who preceded her in death three years ago. Deceased has lived in or near Garnavillo since the time of her marriage.

The death of Mrs. Kregel is mourned by five children: George F., of Nebraska; (fold in paper makes second name illegible) of Elkader; Mrs. Anna Roggman, of Garnavillo; Alvin Kregel, of Garnavillo; and Mrs. W. C. Drahn, of Minneapolis. She will also be missed by her granddaughter, Mrs. Henry Wolf, of Elkader, besides other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at Garnavillo, with Rev. K. W. Braun officiating.
