Volga- Services for Gordon Dohrer, 45, were Monday at Ames, with burial there. A resident of Ames for several years Mr. Dohrer died there Saturday after a heart attack.

He was born at Volga, a son of Henry and Bessie Taylor Dohrer. He was associated with the state highway commission at Ames.

Surviving are his wife, Arlene; two sisters, Mrs. Carl P. (Erma) Lechner and Mrs. Hazel Cain of Ames; a brother, Glenn of Davenport, and his stepfather, Chester (Looks like Peake) of Oelwein.
