Died in Austin, Minn., February 9th, 1871 (sic), of congestive chills, Mrs. Sarah A., wife of T. W. Hazelton, aged 29 years. Deceased was buried in the Highland Cemetery, Monday, February 12th.

Clayton County Journal: February 21, 1872

Locals column: T.W. Hazelton, Esq., of Austin, Minn., formerly of this County, was here the past week on the very sad mission of burying his wife.
