Garnavillo- James A. Hyde, 81, formerly of Garnavillo, died Thursday at the Samaritan Home in Elkader, Ia.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Methodist Church in Colesburg, Ia., with burial in the Brown Cemetery there.

Friends may call at the Tuecke Funeral Home at Garnavillo until 12:30 p.m. Sunday.

Surviving are three sons, Clark B., Elkader, Ia., Leo K., Alton, Ia., Donald, Elkport, Ia.; two daughters, Mrs. J. (Maxine) Becker, Decorah, Ia., Mrs. Robert (Eileen) Lau, Iowa Falls, Ia.; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, George, Clermont, Ia., Frank, Colesburg; four sisters, Elizabeth Law and Gladys Nugent, both in California, Mrs. Ed (Harriet) Schweitert, Guttenberg, Ia., Mrs. Ina Felder, Guttenberg.
