Manchester- August E. "Ed" Bissell, 65, died Friday evening at Delaware County Memorial Hospital. He was a retired Illinois Central employee.

Survivors are his mother, Elsie of Guttenberg; two brothers, Royce of Guttenberg and John of Monona; and five sisters, Kathleen Bente of Elkader, Hulda Honn of Longmont, Colo., and Marie Lowell, Jean Tuecke and Kay Thiese, all of Guttenberg.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Tuecke-Allyn's, Guttenberg, where friends may call from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today. Burial: Guttenberg City Cemetery.
