Elkader- Funeral services for John Bossard were held today (Monday). Bossard, a retired farmer, died Saturday at the Memorial Hospital, Prairie du Chien, Wis. He was 71.

The funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. at the St. John's Lutheran Church, Farmersburg, with burial in the Farmersburg-Wagner cemetery. Witt Funeral Home of Elkader was in charge of arrangements.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy, Elkader; four sons: John and Don, both of Farmersburg, Ronald and Robert, both of Elkader; four grandchildren; a sister, Anna Morach of Aarau, Switzerland.
