Clayton County Register, Thur., 22 February 1951.
Funeral services for Mary Weymouth Johnson, 88, were held at the Norway Lutheran church, St. Olaf, Monday, Feb. 19.
Mary Johnson died at the Decorah hospital after an illness of two weeks. She was born in St. Croix Falls, Wis., August 31, 1862, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orin Weymouth.
After her father's death the family moved to Clayton county where she spent her childhood.
She attended Waldorf college at Decorah, after which she taught school for a number of years.
She was united in marriage to Halvor Johnson, who preceded her in death in 1924.
After the death of her husband she spent her remaining years at Decorah.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Mrs. O. W. Weymouth; a nephew, Calvin Weymouth of St Olaf; two nieces, Mrs. Ina Reierson and Mrs. Byers Nelson (Esther), both of Rochester, Minn.
