Died near Caseville, Wis., on the 1st day of August, 1871, Frank C. Scott, in his 17th year.
Frank was one among us since last winter, learning the “art preservative of all arts,” and a faithful, industrious young man he was, possessing many noble traits of character and exhibiting talents that promised a bright future for him.
He has a kind mother living near Caseville, Wis., Mrs. A. J. Long, who is now mourning the loss of her darling son. Deep must be her grief, and we can only join with her in the sad affliction by expressing our heartfelt sympathy. We have had many a good boy in our office, but none to whom we were ore warmly attached than we were to Frank, and we, too, mourn his death, and as we cannot drop the sympathetic tear over his grave, we write theses lines to commemorate his noble qualities. Good-bye, Frank
