Fury, Maria 1870-1871

On the 22d inst, February 22, 1871, of Lung Fever, at the residence of Mrs. Gorman, Maria Fury, only child of Patrick Fury of Elkader, aged 11 months and 10 days.

Mr. Fury came to our city a week ago bringing with him his wife and child, intending to stay over night. The child indisposed, the parents waited for its recovery, but carry back with them now only the remains of the little one, and a life long sorry for its death.

Burial: St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Elkader

Parents: Patrick died 1911, Margaret died 1917
They are buried in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
