Vivian Ilene Appleton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Appleton, was born on Sept 20, 1914 and died Sept. 12, 1917, being three years, 11 months and 22 days old.
She had a most sunny loveable disposition; always smiling and happy and was truly a living sunbeam in the home, where she is sadly missed.
She liked to go to Sunday School, belonging to the True Blue Class, but her chair is vacant now.
She leaves to mourn her early death, her parents, one brother, Carroll and sister Faith, besides other relatives.
The funeral services were held on Thursday at the Central Methodist Church, Rev. Schlung officiating. Burial was made at Asbury Cemetery.
The bereaved family has the sympathy of all friends in their great sorrow.
