Elkader- Mrs. Cedonia M. Berse, 88 of Elkader died Friday night in the Elkader Care Center.

Her husband, John died in 1929.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church here, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday at the Witt Funeral Home here, where the Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Sunday.

Surviving are her son, Marvin of Chatfield, Minn.; a daughter, Mrs. John (Norma) Eulberg of Garnavillo, Ia.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Walter Wilke of Monona, Ia., and Louis of Elkader, and a sister, Miss Edna Wilke of Elkader.
