Dubuque Telegraph Herald – November 1, 1949

Postville, Ia. – Services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Community Presbyterian Church have been set for Harvey Easton Roberts, 77, who died Sunday at the Postville Hospital after an illness of several weeks. The Rev. Walter T. Martin will officiate and burial will be in the Postville Cemetery.

The son of Hall and Marie (Easton) Roberts, he was born Dec. 2, 1871 in Postville. He spent his entire life in this community and was in business with his father until the elder Robert’s death. He married Florence Marston.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Hall, of Northfield, Minn., and Frank; a daughter, Nancy, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Blessin, of Pasadena, Calif and Mrs. R. Templeton, pf Portland, Ore.
