Mrs. Carrie Larson was born August 30, 1872, in Clayton county, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ole Aason, and passed away at the age of eighty-three years, on April 12, at Postville hospital, after a brief illness.
She was united in marriage to Peter Larson in 1897. To this union one son, Perry C. Larson, was born. Her husband passed away in Gunder in 1910. She continued to live there until 1918, when she moved to Elgin where the remainder of her life was spent.
She is survived by her son, Perry, two grandchildren, Judy and Patty, a brother, Halvor Aason, of Elgin, and several nieces and nephews.
Interment was made in the Gunder cemetery Sunday, following funeral services conducted at the Muehlethaler funeral home with the Rev. Vance Knutsen officiating. Pall bearers were Oscar, George, Lewy, Melvin and Mervin Gregerson and Ernie Baumgartner.
Relatives from a distance who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Trehus, La Crosse, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Galstad, Green Bay, Wis., Mrs. Guerna Nielson and son, Neuman, of Springville, and Mrs. Floyd Sutiff of Mt. Vernon.
