Military services were held for Clifton T. Clauson at the Norway Lutheran cemetery at St. Olaf, Jan. 21, 1955.
Mr. Clauson was born at St. Olaf, Dec. 5, 1922, was graduated from the Farmersburg High school, June 9, 1943. He served 33 months in the service, of which 11 months were spent in Germany.
On August 30, 1945, he was married to Calista Farrell at Volga, Iowa. In 1946 they moved to Waterloo.
Two sons were born to them, Thomas Dean and Roger Allen, who survive him. He is also survived by two cousins,, Helmer Hulverson, Elkader, and Leland Hulverson, St. Olaf.
Preceding him in death were his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Clauson, and one sister, Mollie, all of St. Olaf.
