Strawberry Point- Ruth D. Rardin, 87, died Friday in Central Community Hospital, Elkader.

Surviving are a daughter, Rosaline Hanaway of Lamont; a son, Ray E. of Lamont; two sisters, Marguerite Robinette of Charleston, W.Va., and Garnet West of Hicksville, Ohio; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services are pending. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday at Vernon's, Manchester.
