OBITUARY.
On Tuesday, May 25th, at her home near St. Olaf, Iowa, occurred the death of Mrs. Gilbert Hulverson. She had a paralytic stroke on the 16th, but lived until the 25th. She was a little over 48 years old. She was Emma Heckmaster, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Heckmaster of Elkader. Besides the loving husband she leaves a family of three sons and one daughter to mourn her loss. With these are two brothers and six sisters, who are mourning. They are Charles, of Canton, S. D., George, at St. Olaf, Mrs. C. G. Smith, of Des Moines, Mrs. Dora Davis, of Mendon twp., Mrs. H. Mickelson, of Canton, S. D., Augusta, Julia and Mina, of Elkader.
The funeral was held this afternoon from her late residence and at the Norway church in Wagner township.
Our sympathy goes out to our friend whose home has been invaded by the Angel of Death and hope he and the family may be sustained by the consolation that an All-Wise Providence may give. His ways must be ours.
