Guttenberg- Mrs. Augusta Handke, 81, of Guttenberg died Friday at the Riverview Care Center here.

Her husband, Edgar, died in 1948.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church here, with burial in the Guttenberg City Cemetery. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Sunday at the Tuecke-Allenstein Funeral Home here.

Surviving are five sons, Clarence of Garber, Iowa and Raymond, Eugene, Edgar Jr., and Roland, all of Guttenberg; six daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Augusta) Gloeckner of Epworth, Iowa and Mrs. Harry (Bernice) Purman, Mrs. Edna Hansel, Mrs. Richard (Florence) Duwe Sr., Mrs. Melvin (Arlene) Thein and Mrs. LaVern (Mary Ann) Hoeger, all of Guttenberg; 35 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Alvin (Louise) Handke of Guttenberg.
