Guttenberg - Mrs. Orin Westfall, nee Nettie Lacey, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Burt Tucker, in Buena Vista township, on Thursday afternoon, at the age of 88 year, three months and 13 days. The cause of her death was mostly due to the infirmities of old age.

Mrs. Westfall was born in the state of Indiana on December 19, 1847, where the greater part of her life was spent. She was married in Indiana to Orin Westfall on November 5, 1868. Mr. Westfall died 15 years ago. Two children have also preceded the mother in death.

For the past six years deceased had been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Burt Tucker, and family, in Buena Vista township, where she always received the tenderest of care.

Her death is deeply mourned by two children, Mrs. Burt Tucker of Buena Vista township, and Thomas Westfall of Sioux City; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives, who will all sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. J. Knight at the Goshen church in Millville township on Saturday afternoon, with interment in the Goshen cemetery. The funeral was largely attended.
