Farmersburg- Herbert G. Zurcher, 75, retired farmer and owner-operator of the Farmersburg Elevator, died Thursday at Central Community Hospital, Elkader.

Surviving are his wife, Selma; a daughter, Valeera Gabel, Fort Madison, Iowa; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a brother, Glendor Zurcher, Elkader.

Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John Lutheran Church. Burial: Farmersburg-Wagner Cemetery, rural Farmersburg. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Witt's in Elkader. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or St. John Church.
