BECKER, BUCKMAN, KNUTH, WALTER

Postville Herald, Thursday, October 22, 1936:

Mrs. Henry Becker Passes
Mrs. Henry Becker, (nee Buckman) who had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Alvin Knuth, the past year, passed away at 2:45 last Thursday morning after a protracted sick spell, at the age of 73 years.

She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Alvin Knuth and Mrs, Walter Knuth, and one son, Fred Becker, and several grandchildren, all of Luana; one sister, Mrs. Wm. Walter of Elkader, and two sisters and one brother in Germany.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from the Alvin Knuth home and the Luana Lutheran church.

Interment was made in the Wagner* cemetery

Note: I assumed that Wagner cemetery was another name for Eno Cemetery, since it is located in Wagner Township. Her husband is also buried in the Eno cemetery.
