Lloyd Keehner Rites Held Here
Funeral services for Lloyd M. Keehner, 47, of National were held Wednesday morning, Nov. 27, at 10:30 o'clock at St. Patrick's Catholic church with Father Donald Heineman officiating at the funeral mass.
Burial was in St. Patrick cemetery.
Mr. Keehner died Sunday, Nov. 24, at the Guttenberg hospital following a long illness.
He was born March 28, 1921, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Keehner. He married Jeanne Marie Berns of Monona. After their marriage they went to live on a farm in the National area, where he lived until the time of his death.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by five daughters, Janice, Joann, Joleen, Caroline and Dawn; two sons, James and Lee; his mother, Mrs. Caroline Keehner of Garnavillo; three sisters, Mrs. Virgil Clefisch of Garnavillo, Mrs. Ralph Gull of Colesburg, and Mrs. James King of Davenport; and three brothers, George of Monona and Warren and Howard of Guttenberg.
Music at the services was provided by the seventh and eighth grade choir of St. Patrick's school. Sister M. Anita was the organist.
Pallbearers were Larry, Harlan, Ronnie, Robert and Kenneth keehner, Richard and Sidney Clefisch and Richard Berns.
