Died, September 25, 1889, William Waggoner, of Elk township, aged 69 years. The announcement of the death of Mr. Waggoner was a great surprise and shock to many friends. His death was very sudden. He had been ailing for some time, but nothing serious was thought of until Wednesday morning when he died.

Mr. Waggoner was an old settler of Elk township and was highly respected. He leaves a wife and one son, Charles to mourn the death of a kind and affectionate husband and father.

The funeral took place Friday and was largely attended. Rev. Fuchs conducted the services. We extend our sympathies to the bereaved wife and son.
