Fatal accident on Tuesday an accident occurred in Wagner township, which resulted in the death of Chris Jenney. He had been at work digging a well deeper for John Kliefoth, and was assisted by the latter and his son John. About eleven o’clock they exploded a charge of dynamite in the bottom of the well, and about one o’clock Jenney went down to remove the debris. He was soon overcome by foul air and before he could be drawn out became unconscious and fell to the bottom. Aid was summoned, but before he was drawn from the well his life had passed away. Corner Cain was summoned, but upon learning the above facts deemed an inquest unnecessary. The deceased was a native of Switzerland, and was 41 years of age. He was buried yesterday.
