Died at the family residence in Highland township, on Tuesday, July 2nd, 1889, Mary, wife of P.J. Kennedy, aged about 30 years.

This is a very sad case. Three children have preceded their mother to the grave from diphtheria, and one other child lying very low with the same disease. The bereaved husband has the heartfelt sympathy of all in his great affliction.

*Note: her husband was Patrick J. Kennedy. Her maiden name was Corbeth according to her son Walter's obit.
