Michael Meier, an old resident of Farmersburg township, died at his home Saturday morning, Jan. 23rd, aged 79 years, 5 months and 7 days.

The funeral was held Monday at one o'clock at the Evangelical church near Froelich, conducted by Rev. Shurman, of Monona.

The floral offerings were beautiful, showing the esteem in which Mr. Meier was held by his large circle of acquaintances. The family and relatives have the sympathy of their many friends in their bereavement.

Burial in the cemetery near Giard.
