Mrs. Harriet Hyde passed away at the home of John Funk. She had been confined to her bed for the past six weeks. She is survived by several children, 50 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Bethel church Thursday, Oct. 23 with Mr. Castle of West Union officiating. Interment was made at the Bethel cemetery.
