Hyde, Aaron died 1896
The Colesburg News says: "Mr. Aaron Hyde met with a serious accident last Thursday afternoon while returning home from Osterdock. In some way he was thrown out of the wagon and was found soon after lying by the roadside in an unconscious condition. He was taken home and Dr. Donaldson summoned. His spine is injured and his body below the injury is paralyzed."

We understand that Mr. Hyde has since died from his injuries.

Notes: Burial is in Bethel cemetery. Gravestone gives dates 04/06/1840-05/25/1896. He was a soldier of the Civil War, Co. B, 16th US Infantry. Wife: Harriet Brown
