Daniel Freeman died at his home on Hewitt Creek, December 25, 1889, after a long illness of two months, at the age of 28 years. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. He leaves a young wife, a bride of but three months, a widowed mother, two brothers and two sisters to mourn for him. The sympathy of the entire community is with them.
