At her residence in Wagner township, on January 14th, 1889, occurred the death of Mrs. C. F. Hupfer, after a short sickness with liver complaint.
Anna Moon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O.H. Moon, was born in Wagner township in 1862, and was consequently 27 years and 10 days old at the time of her death.
March 6th, 1887, she was united in marriage with C. F. Hupfer, and that their union had been one of happiness, it needed no tongue to tell. She was kind, genial, loving, and never more happy than when contributing to the comfort of others. With these attributes of mind and manner it was no wonder that she had hosts of friends wherever she went. On Friday previous to her death, she and her husband went to visit his father. In the afternoon she was taken sick and grew rapidly worse until Monday, when she rallied for a time, but then failed until death relieved her from the sufferings of life. Death has left on bright cheerful home desolate, but we have the consolation of knowing that she has gone to a brighter land, where she waits for the loved ones to join her, never more to be parted.
