Alice Keilholtz died at the home of her parents in Volga City, Jan. 3rd, 1889; aged 25 years, 9 months and 26 days.
For over a year she had been a sufferer form that terrible disease, consumption. Nearly three months ago she went to Kansas, intending to spend the winter with her brother, Wm. Keilholtz, in hopes that a change of climate would be beneficial, but she continued to fail and during the last few weeks of her life her chief desire was to come home. She lived to get home but died the next morning.
She will be sadly missed by her parents, sister and brothers. She had many warm friends who sympathize with the bereaved family.
