Clayton County Register, Thur., 12 July 1956.
Services for Peter M. Larson, 80, of Elkader, were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Norway Lutheran church. The Witt Funeral Home was in charge with the Rev. B. Boyce officiating. Burial was in the Norway cemetery.
Pallbearers were Junior Larson, Clarence Larson, Mervin Larson, Raymond Larson, Adolph Larson and Nickolie Martin.
Mr. Larson died Saturday, July 7, at the Strawberry Point nursing home, where he had been a patient for about two years.
He was born Aug. 20, 1875, near Elkader, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew M. Larson. He was a stonemason by trade.
His parents, two sisters and four brothers prceded him in death.
Surviving are three brothers, Henry and William of Elkader and John of St. Olaf.
