FUNK, BOLSINGER, HANSEL, NOGGLES

Funeral services were held for Clinton Edward Funk, 77, Garber, Wednesday, March 30, 1983, at Witt Funeral Home with burial in the Mount Harmony Cemetery. Rev. David Dennison officiated. Pallbearers were Leonard Hansel, John Beatty, Lloyd Amsden, Harlan Backes, Lyle Schroeder and Roger Sears.

He was born December 24, 1905 at Colesburg, the son of Elmer and Babe Bolsinger Funk. On August 29, 1929, he married Jessie Alice Hansel at Elkader. They were the parents of two children and farmed for a livelihood. He died at his Garber home Monday, March 28, 1983.

Survivors include his wife, Jessie; one daughter, Carrol Noggles, Dubuque; one son, Gerald, Garber; two brothers, Howard and Alfonce, Waterloo; four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Those preceding him in death are his parents and two sisters.
