Cedar Rapids Gazette, Tue., 3 June 1986.

Guttenberg - Susan E. Beeh, 86, died Sunday evening in the Elkader Care Center.

Survivors include a son, Philip of Elkport; two brothers and a sister, LeRoy Burkett, Alonzo Burkett and Alpha Ellison, all of Tipton, Ind.; seven grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Tuecke-Allyn's, where friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today. Burial: Mount Harmony Cemetery, rural Elkport.

A second obituary in this newspaper gives this additional information:

Mrs. Beeh was born in Tipton, Ind., on Aug. 11, 1899, a daughter of Omer and Mabel (McNeil) Burkett. She was married at Lebanon, Ind., Oct 6, 1920 to Philip J. Beeh, who died Jan. 17, 1972. Mrs. Beeh had been employed at the Guttenberg button and canning factories.

Pallbearers were her grandsons: John, Jacob, Christoph, Alonzo, Barry and Micah Beeh.
