KILFORD, KILFOIL

After three years of intense suffering, James Kilfoil of Read twp., departed this life on Sunday evening.

He leaves a wife and family of small children to mourn his decease. Funeral services were held today at St. Joseph’s church, this city (Elkader) at 10 o’clock.

It is aid to see a young man die, and yet death to him is a blessing for without health life is hardly worth living. His loved ones deserve and will receive the sympathy of all in their deep affliction, protracted sick ness of the husband and father – finally ending in death.

After an extended illness James Kilfoil, of Read twp., departed this life on Sunday last, leaving a wife and family of small children. The funeral was held Tuesday morning at St. Joseph's church. Our sympathy goes out to the bereaved.
