Mrs. Thov Thovson (Kjosa) passed away at her home in Farmersburg, June 26, 1927, at 2:00 a.m., at the age of 79 years, six months and one day.
She had been failing in health for the last year and was confined to bed nearly four months. the cause of her death was cancer.
Gunild Olson* was born December 25th, 1847 in Opdal Nummendal, Norway, the daughter of Ole and Sigrid Olson. She left her native country together with her parents in the year 1866 and came to America and established her home in Clayton county.
December 12, 1872 she was united in marriage to Thov Thovson (Kjosa) and to this union five children were born, four preceded her in death. Her husband also preceded her in death Feb. 5th, 1926.
She leaves to mourn her death, her son Gilbert, with whom she has made her home of late years; 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was a good neighbor and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.
