Died at his residence in Millville, on Tuesday evening, Sept. 1st, 1868.

Mr. Bayne was one of the first settlers of Clayton County. He was respected and beloved by all who knew him as a friend and neighbor while living; though he is now gone from among us. He leaves a family of three children to mourn his loss.
