Died in Garnavillo, on the 1st of December, 1855, Sophia Mary, wife of Mr. John Engler, aged 21 years, 1 month and 24 days.
Farewell, Farewell, my dearest heart,
From the never-resting earth;
Where God was listening to her death,
And death was ringing with her in the bed,
She sounded with Glorious voice,
From her lips, Amen! Amen! Amen!
