Died at Wagner, on the 6th September, 1855, Mr. Joseph B. Clough, aged 24 years.

Mr. Clough came into this place last Spring, from Thetford, Vermont, bought 160 acres of first-rate Prairie land, put in some Spring crops, and then engaged as a Clerk in a store in an unhealthy location on the Mississippi, where he contracted Bilious Remittent Fever, of which he died.

Mr. C. was a worthy young man, and though he is thus early taken away from us, he has left many strong and true friends.
