Died at Elkader, on the 25th April, 1855, Eliza J., consort of Horace D. Brunson, aged 54 years.
Mrs. Brunson was one of the first settlers of our county, has passed through many of the hardships of a pioneer life; and has left many to mourn the loss of a sincere friend and kind neighbor.
