Turkey River, Ia., Dec. 27 - William McLane, 75, pioneer resident of Clayton county, died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. N.H. Treusdell in Turkey River on Saturday morning at 2 o'clock, after a few days' illness.

Mr. McLane was born in Canada July 17, 1855. There are no survivors.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon with interment in the Goshen cemetery in Millville township.
