Volga City, Ia. - SPECIAL: Funeral services for Henry Whitford, 82, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Methodist Church with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Mr. Whitford, a well known short-horned breeder, died late Sunday at his home just west of Volga City following a lingering illness.

Surviving are his widow, the former Vira Sanborn; three sons, H. E. Whitford and J. H. Whitford, both of Volga City, and Guy of West Union; and three daughters, Mrs. C. W. Humphrey, of West Union, Mrs. L. H. Appelman, of Clermont, and Mrs. John Sprague, of Fayette.
